Have you ever witnessed an argument?
An argument you wish you never witnessed
Just so you wouldn't know the things you know now?
She can't remember, can't remember
thoughts are in a cage; struggling to be free
No recollection of what just happned; none whatsoever
Knowing it will fracture your mother's heart; like a million pieces of glass
You, the unhappy teen, sits in the middle and tries to zone out
Close your eyes and float above the madnessa dn desperation
Instead you imagine the worst: your heartbeat losing consistency,
Like a useless battery
As you remember what is haunting you and your family.
Breaking things....BOOM! CRASH!
With a vengenance she doesn't stop
On the ground; running, running, running
Running so hard your lungs crack; Your knees buckle
Screaming on top of your lungs trying to find help in a helpless place
All alone; all alone; leaving a trail of tears
You can't swim and yet you're here; drowned in all your fears
Open yuor eyes in a jolt! The thought chain reaction is over in your mind
But can you face the world? Face all the abnormalities and crime?
Is it you facing the world?
Or is it you inside?
