What if haymitch voluntered for peeta

The Night

It was the night of the announcement

for the quarter quill

I had a drink in my hand and a

control in the other and my eyes like a

hawk watching the screen ,waiting for

Snow to make his anounouncement.

Then seconds later the Capitol

residents are screaming and shouting,I

automatically sense that Snow is

near,or on the stage.I'm waiting for

what ridiculous stuff he needs to say

about the Quarter Quill and the

reminder of the Dark Days.I see that

Snow is already on the stage and

microphone in hand "On seventy-fifth

Hunger Games as a reminder to the

rebels"*in my head I'm thinking Bla

Bla*"that even the strongest among

them cannot over power the Capitol,the

male and female tributes will be reaped

from their existing pool"when I hear

the news I throw my glass at the

television and it brakes the screen and

white liquor all over the floor. After ten

minute of just hating Snow I hear on

my door a*BANG BANG* I get it and

it's Katniss.Shes in tears and tells me"

Haymitch please help me please we

must protect Peeta!"I reaply " well

then how are we going to do

that?"then katniss says " if Peeta gets

called then ....then you volunteer ".

"There was silence for a while then

Haymitch says "well sweat heart what

happens if I get called" and I just leave

the house and shut the doors as hard as I can.

Then I start running and running to the

woods.Once I'm out of " district limit "I

start weaping and then crying.Then I

get my bow and arrow and shoot a

deer,start a fire and started eating my

deer.After an hour or so I head to the

fence I listen to see if it's on but it isn't

so I crawl under the fence and head

toward the Victor Village.I get home to

see Gale on the table and my mom and

Prim treating him.I asked "what

happed?"
