It was the first day of sixth grade. Sydney just move to oakland, IL. Sydney woke up to the ring of her new alarm clock. She fell off her bed and her dog pompom started to lick her. She started to laugh.
Then she told her dog to stop. She went to the kitchen to get her breakfast. Her dad said" good morning sweetheart"she had enough of her dad calling her sweetheart. Her dad understand that she is growing up. So he stop. He gave her breakfast.
She was on her way to school. She saw some girl by the bus stop. She asked them where was the elementary school. They told her to come with them.
