Ara’s POV
“Thom may nakalimutan ka ata?”
“Ha? Wala naman ah?”
Iniinis talaga ako nitong lalaking to.
“Where is my gift?”
We are celebrating our 7th anniversary kasi. I gave him a rolex watch.
He smiled widely and said, “After 3 weeks malalaman mo.” And he winked at me.
He is Thomas Christopher Torres my 7- year boyfriend. We’ve been together since high school, thankfully hindi kami naghiwalay and I don’t want that to happen. He is my life now. We’ve been through ups and downs, we encountered so many struggles in our relationship at walang bumitaw sa amin.
At first our parents are really against it kasi sobrang bata pa daw namin baka maging distraction siya sa studies naming but we talked to them and promised na we will work hard just to prove na kaya naming pagsabayin ang lahat.
We graduated in college with flying colors, we got a good job. Our friends always tease us na kasal nalang daw ang kulang para successful na talaga kaming dalawa in all aspects. Tinatawanan lang naming sila pero deep inside me napapaisip ako pero I immediately erase that thought.

“Babe, are you okay?” Tanong sa akin ni Thomas habang hinahagod yung likod ko.
“A bit,” I honestly said. “I feel dizzy every time na babangon ako.”
“Tara let me carry you.”
It’s been a week since I always threw up every morning, having weird cravings and getting dizzy. It is weird kasi di naman ako ganito dati. I have tons of works to do in my office buti nalang at nandiyan si Carol, my best friend since who knows when, to do the works in the restaurant.
“Uhm babe you need anything? Like food or what?” Tanong sakin ni Thomas. He is always like this, asking me if I need food and it’s getting weird kasi di naman siya ganito dati.
“I want an ice cream and a green mango please.” I said and I saw him cringe.

“Ano ba yan Ara! Kung ano ano yang pinagkakakain mo.” Reklamo ni Mika.
“Ang sarap kaya try mo.” Alok ko pa sa kanya.
Sobrang sarap ng singkamas habang sinasawsaw sa ketchup.
“Sayo na yan uy!” Sagot naman ni Mika. “Ugh, ang sakit talaga ng puson ko lecheng dysmenorrhea to! Buti ka pa nga siguro tapos ka na.”
Natigilan ako, pucha 3 weeks na akong delayed. Weird cravings, morning sickness, dizziness.
“After 3 weeks malalaman mo.” And he winked at me.
OH MY GOSH!!!! THOMAS TORRES HUMANDA KA!!!!!!!!

Pag-uwi ko sa condo namin ay nag test agad ako to make sure kung tama ba ang hinala ko.
Two lines……. It means positive.
“Babe! I’m home!” sigaw ng bansot sa labas.
Agad akong lumabas at binigay sa kanya yung pregnancy test.
“Walanghiya ka at ikaw pa ang unang nakaalam na buntis ako.” At pinagpapalo ko siya sa braso.
“HAHAHAHAHA! Sorry naman babe, I just make sure na I hit the jackpot eh.”
“Walanghiya to!” pagmamaktol ko pa.
Nagulat nalang ako at lumuhod siya sa harap ko.
“Ara, we’ve been together for 7 years, we encountered countless problems in our relationship and almost part ways but we chose to hold on. I thank God that you never think of letting me go--- letting us go. You always said na you’re not ready to have a baby because you think you’ll not do good but for me you’re the most perfect girl I’ve ever known. Let me ask this question, are you willing to be my wife?”
“Parang di mo pa nilagyan ng laman tong tiyan ko eh no?” at nagtawanan kami “Yes Thom!!!” and he slid the ring in my finger.
He kissed me passionately and I reciprocated his action.
“I love you to lifetime, Victonara Galang.” He said.
“I love you too, Thomas Torres.”
And we sealed it with another kiss.
