Chapter 185: The Spring Spirit

One by one Xuelian and I cleared out the «mobs» leading to the next room. We «kited» each enemy using my arrows. We «pulled» each one closer and led it to an area relatively secluded area where we could fight without drawing the attention of the others.

It was about twenty minutes later that we had finished off the last one.

"Tsubasa, do you want to continue or turn back and rest?" Xuelian turned to me picking up the item drops from the monster's corpses.

"I'm good let's push on a little bit further. I still have a few more potion uses left."

"Alright," Xuelian replied.

After a short break and some rations, we took off into the next room.

To our surprise when we entered the room a ghostly wall of mist appeared blocking the exit. At the end of the narrow room was what looked like the [crystal spring] that we slowly moved toward; except instead a crystal there was small eerie blue flame that floated over top the spring.

We both knew immediately what it was.

As if sensing our presence, the flame burst outward revealing a dark banshee like creature [Kailesid, The Spring Spirit].
