Penny lays in bed wishing he were dead. His life has been a never-ending string of ...for every blessing a massive curse seems to come with it. Will the pain never end? Did I ask for this life? Can I change my mind an get off now?
We once were very very happy. Please...hold on. I will find a way to fix this.
Penny sighs as his heart begins to give out, "What happened to us?" He feels his life slipping away.
I wanted to give Q a very special present. In our time he didn't get to know Martin Chadwin. I wanted to give him a surprise and instead...I broke everything. I should have known better but... when you are a power broker. Well power corrupts. Having absolute power with a vessel to channel it through corrupts absolutely. No matter how hard you try to be something better. It just is what it is... I never thought such a simple wish would bring so much pain. But here we are. Welcome to life right? You go to school thinking they have all the answers and can teach you what you need to know and instead. You learn Professors, in the end, are just people who have more questions than answers. #PiledhigherandDeeper has never been such an oxymoron as it is now.
Penny reaches deep within himself. He does NOT want to die. He longs to understand and until he does...he won't give up fighting for his right to live HIS life, his way!

Izzy answers, "Here. I think. It's so very hard without Q. I just can't focus enough to think clearly. I'm so angry. He has a way of hurting people, even when he doesn't mean to...but it happens anyway."
"Why are we caught in your 'Bad Romance'!" Wow. Penny thinks to himself. I'm becoming more and more like that nerd everyday.
You are brothers, Izzy replies. Well at least where we live you are and you love it. He's your best and truest friend where we are really from.

"The Beast. Why does he want to destroy all of the Time Travelers?" Penny asks as he slips into oblivion.
"Me." Izzy replies. "I can change things, sort of. I'm like you, in a sense. Being a power broker has its problems."
"Humor me." Penny laughs feeling a bit of life returning to his weakened body. The sounds are so loud. He can't find any peace.
"I can't be touched. Or I can destroy someone utterly and become something very bad in the process. Q was the only person who could even tolerate or understand me."
What?
"Think Rogue of the X-men and that should help." Izzy tries to help Penny by giving him power but the Beast has him in his clutches. "The only way this is going to work is I have to let you die so you can live. I've called for help. She will be here in time but you are going to have to die first. I'm so very sorry for all of this. For everything, please forgive me."
I can't forgive what I want to happen. Just let me go.
"No!" Izzy pushes more power into Penny. "I will NOT lose you. You can NOT DIE!"
