Tick-Tock
my watch solemnly reminds me of my mortal sin
oh how I loathe the concept of time.
I travel faster than the speed of light
my shadow to outrun I seek and never do I say goodbye
for it's yet another promise that lingers stoically at the corner of the eye.
On I go, mind and flesh further to stretch...
It's not that I'm scared to die nor that I'm afraid to live.
'Tis "time the greatest distance"
and "I've miles to go before I sleep".
