Chapter 3 - Some sights are better left unseen.

                                                            Klaus’s POV

     “Can we leave yet?”

“Fine, as long as I don’t have to hear your annoyingly irritating voice any longer. ‘Quinn will be missing me’ Blablabla If you miss him so much why don’t you marry him!” I snapped childishly.

“I can’t” Ethan growled, and I immediately looked up from my laptop with my arms raised in surrender.

“Okay dude, chill. I was only joking.”

He sighed and frowned, “Yeah I know, but just thinking of Wesley and Evie getting married so early.” He glared down at the holiday brochure in front of him “And you’re probably gonna tie the knot too” He grunted in annoyance. “It just pisses me off because I know that I will never be able to have that with…” He swallowed hard covering up his emotions as he mumbled Quinn’s name. I sat there and said nothing as he brought his attention back to the page he was on, as if he hadn’t just had that little outbreak.

“How about Florida?” He finally said with a bright smile.

“You know you can get married in some states man.” I tried to reassure him, it was slightly un-nerving to see his emotional side even if he covered it up so well.

“Not in this one.” He sighed and closed the brochure. I didn’t know what to say to that, because with the little knowledge I had on ‘gay rights’ Was that Dakota- both North and South, didn’t recognise gay partnership let alone marriage.

“Well there’s always Canada?” I shrugged with a smile. That got the reaction I wanted, he smiled and laughed slightly.

“Actually that’s not a bad idea, what about Canada?” He asked me seriously and I looked at him confused…. He wasn’t seriously going to get married yet was he? I’m not letting my beta move to CANADA!

“Chill dude, I’m not moving to Canada to get married to Quinn. I meant how about taking a pack holiday to Canada?”

That brought me back to the matter in hand. Every year the pack went away on some sort of vacation, but this year my father and the rest of the so-called ‘elder’ population of the pack had wanted to go on some wine tasting vacation to Venice. Excuse me for not wanting to sail down some weird European town in a gondola with a fat guy singing opera!

So instead here Quinn and I were looking for the ‘younger generation’ vacation. We’d thought of pretty much everywhere, but still had no idea where on earth to go with about thirty or so teenage wolves. There was only a couple of weeks to go before Christmas, so me and Ethan had been tied up trying to book the perfect vacation- while trying to keep the plans a secret from our mates. We’d both made an agreement that we were going to surprise them on the day before we were due to leave. Christmas day. Yes, we were leaving on boxing day for a week, so that we could then spend new year’s eve together as a pack.
