5 Months Later
One night, Athena and Mark were at the nursery, putting Grace to sleep
Mark was sitting on a chair while Athena cradled Grace, singing to her while swaying and slowly walks around the room
When Athena finished the lullaby, Grace was fast asleep so Athena puts her in the crib and her and Mark slowly leaving the room and they quietly closed the door
As they were in their room, Mark said "isn't this great? We finally have a child of our own, now this family is complete"
Then in the middle of the night, a horrible tragedy happened. Athena and Mark woke up from the smell of smoke, they went downstairs and they saw their kitchen on fire
"Oh No!" Athena panicked, but then the fire was quickly spread around the house
They couldn't find their way out cause the door was on fire
"SOMEBODY HELP US PLEASE" Mark screamed and luckily their neighbour noticed it and immediately called the fire department
Then they heard Grace crying, making Athena scream as she ran upstairs "GRACE, MY BABY!"
Athena came in the nursery, picked up Grace, ran downstairs and they huddled together while Grace was in the middle of them so they can protect her
The firefighters came, took the fire out while the other firefighters went and grabbed Mark, Athena and Grace. The ambulance came and they immediately took them to the hospital
At the hospital, Athena was badly burned, the doctors and nurses tried everything to save her but sadly she passed away
Mark was also badly injured with all the severe burns everywhere, they tried everything but it was too late, he sadly passed away an hour ago after Athena's death
Grace was totally alright, although she had a some mild burns but the doctor did it
The nurse came in and said to the doctor "I'm afraid that Grace's parents had just passed away"
The doctor was very sad for little Grace
"What are going to do with the child?" said the doctor
"Does the baby have relatives?" The nurse asked
"I'm afraid not" the doctor said "the mother was an only child, so was the father and the grandparents died a long time ago"
"Well we have no chance but to put her in the orphanage, it's the only thing we can do for her" said the nurse
The doctor sighed and said "we shall do it"
So they took Grace to a orphanage called "Orphanage For Girls"
When a lovely woman named Martha who is the owner's assistant carried Grace to a nursery that has a crib, a changing table and of course a closet, she said "I think you deserve to have your own room"
The orphanage is so huge that some of the girls gets their own room
When she laid Grace to the crib, she said to her "this orphanage has some mean little girls and even the owner too, Miss Fickle, but don't worry little one, I will always protect you no matter what and I bet your parents would of wanted someone to protect you"
She put the crib up and said "good night, little Grace" and she left
