The Face of Evil

The face of a roaring dragon,

With eyes that bulge and spin,

Nostrils flared upon your scent,

And teeth as sharp as pins.

A great black beast, long like a snake,

That pounds on 'round your home;

With eyes of red, a gaping maw,

And when you're safe, it roams.

People think that evil is

Something dark and cold.

But were evil that obvious

We'd all be good as gold.

True evil wears a normal face,

It looks like you or me;

You might even be seduced

Beneath the lemon tree.

You must be strong,you must be smart,

Or you'll become its prey;

Be strong, be kind, and all of us,

We'll vanquish it someday.
