Training Your Heart [Discontinued]

All of the tennis players were surrounding one court, including some Regulars. The tension was thick as well as the silence. They were watching the match between Ryoma and Kaido. Ryoma was slightly ahead. The Regulars' eyes were glued to the court.

"He's actually beating Viper?!" Momo exclaimed.

"It looks like he's not even tired." Taka pointed.

"Ryoma has the stamina to go on for days if he has to."

The Regulars turned to the new voice to see a girl staring at the courts with a smirk. It was directed towards the seventh grader on the court. Her black hair cascaded down her back. Her onyx eyes held amusement in them. From the looks of it she didn't seem to go to Seigaku. Tezuka being the captain approached her.

"May I ask why you are here?" he asked with a stern voice.

The girl turned to see a boy older than her staring with a strict look across his face. He had gold brownish hair that went in different directions. Thin-rimmed glasses set on top of his nose and the girl could feel the determination coming off of him, the determination to guide his team mates. No doubt this guy was the captain.

She smiled kindly to him, "I'm not here to spy on your new recruits if that's what you're thinking. I came to see Ryoma play."

"You know Echizen?" Momo questioned.

Even though he hasn't known him for long Momo had the feeling Ryoma didn't have too many friends close to him, let alone a girlfriend.

"For some time now, we met each other 3 years ago." The mysterious girl's eyes turned distant reliving the memory. "I can still remember how he didn't like me at first. Said he didn't need me, but that's changed." Her eyes cleared up and her arms placed behind her back.

"That's kinda harsh of Echizen to say." Fuji said.

"Wait a second, if he was so mean to you how are you two dating?" Momo said very interested.

An awkward silence filled the air. The tennis players were questioning wondering that as well. This girl obviously was Ryoma's girlfriend but from what she just said it sounds like he hated her. How did they get together then? Even the girl had to think on the question herself. It slowly processed in her mind what he said and she suddenly started to laugh. The boy's faces turned from shock to confused, even the captain held slight confusion.

Her laughter turned to giggles. She covered her mouth regaining composure. "Sorry but we don't see each other that way. It's more of a brother-sister thing. Besides-"

"Shizuka, is that really you?"

The mysterious girl turned sideways to see another pair of tennis players that were also Regulars. Her eyes widened from recognition.

"Eiji, Oishi, I didn't know you go here?"
