God, Strings, and Marionettes
©2014, Olan L. Smith
If you were the only one living life all alone,
Who would tell you you were wrong?
Walk backwards...that's okay,
No one else is in your way―
Or string strings from everything
Create a universe all your own,
To make your pleasure strictly sown,
With strings strung tightly you could have a play,
Then make marionettes out of clay,
They'd dance your harmonies, pray to your deity;
You'd could give them names: First and Dawn,
And place them in your garden lawn.

PoetryThis is a light poem with a deeper side to it, as it deals with quantum physic's and string-theory in a humorous way.
