So basically this fanfic is about the Canadian-American television series 'Higher Ground' character Shelby Merrick. You can watch full good quality episodes online which I have listed down below. There's only one season which sucks but it's an awesome TV show and it has honestly helped me cope with my struggles in my life. If you guys have ever watched 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' it's kinda like 'Higher Ground' but HG is more advanced in a way that explores deeper in common issues. Degrassi is also an amazing show > Eli & Allie for life!
In Higher Ground there's this school called 'Mount Horizon' for at-risk teenagers, dealing with abuse, suicide, eating disorders, drug addictions, isolation, etc.
Anyways there's this character played by A.J Cook who starred in Criminal Minds, Virgin Suicides and many more. So this book is dedicated to Shelby Merrick, which includes her past, present and future. I own nothing, no characters, plot, etc.

ANYWAYS if there's anything new or different from HG I'll mention it in the chapters (But I hope you guys watch the episodes online because let's get real I'm not going to mention every little detail in every chapter but I will try). THIS FANFIC IS LOOSLY GOING TO BE CLOSE TO THE EPISODES, BUT SMALL THINGS WILL BE CHANGED (names, events, plot).
