Spuds [noun]: potatoes
I personally use both words. Since Ireland is known for these veggies it seems fitting to have a special name for them.
Examples:
"Are we having spuds for dinner?"
"Did ya remember to buy the spuds?"
Merry Christmas guys! Or any other occasions you celebrate. I'm not good with remembering other ones, I'm so sorry. I only learnt like three years ago what thanksgiving was!
