Hey! So I was surfin' the Internet and I found this brilliant statement/story thing about anti-racism!
A black man walks into a store. A white man approaches him.
WM: Coloured people are not allowed here.
The black man thinks about it for a second and replies.
BM: When I was born, I was BLACK.
BM: When I was grown up, I was BLACK.
BM: When I'm sick, I'm BLACK.
BM: When I'm cold, I'm BLACK.
BM: When I'm in the sun, I'm BLACK.
BM: When I die, I'll be BLACK.
The white man doesn't think much of this and speaks.
WM: So what?
The black man continues.
BM: When you were born, you were PINK.
BM: When you were grown up, you were WHITE.
BM: When you're sick, you're GREEN.
BM: When you're in the sun, you're RED.
BM: When you're cold, you're BLUE.
BM: And when you die, you'll be PURPLE.
BM: Then you have the nerve to call me coloured?
The white man is unable to say anything, and lets the black man in.
Isn't that the most brilliant thing you've ever seen?! It's inspirational! I hope you found it as inspirational as I did! I like to put it in any of my books that I can, because I find it so clever and true! Go Anti-Racism!
