PART ONE

The Fellowship of the Ring

The One Ring to rule them all has surfaced.

When Bilbo Baggins leaves Bag End and the Shire for the last time, he leaves everything to his beloved nephew Frodo; including a ring he has owned for over 60 years. A ring he had found in the goblin caves while on his own adventure.

When Gandalf the Grey belatedly discovers the true nature of Bilbo's ring, Frodo must carry it to Rivendell -- along with his faithful gardener, Samwise, and his two cousins Merry and Pippin.

Pursued by enemies, they gain an unexpected friend on their part, the ranger Strider, who aids them and leads them to the Elven dwelling. While travelling, Frodo is mortally wounded by a Morgul blade by the hands of the Witchking, but Arwen is there to bring him to her father Elrond, the Elven lord of Imaldris, who can heal him.

Barely escaping the clutches of the shadows Frodo recovers, though not without deep scars, and Elrond calls for a council. The One Ring must be destroyed.

The Fellowship is soon to be formed. Doom is looming. But there is hope. 

There is always hope.
