exhibitionism was about a 3-5 hour drive to here (idk how far exactly because we stopped a lot because we had time to kill) and it was so worth it honestly

be warned if you're going, even if you have tickets you wanna be there EARLY. our tickets were for 3:00 and we got there at 2:30 but wouldn't let us in line until 2:45. we were the second ones in line and didn't get in the actual museum around 3:20.

also, we got the audio tour which they just give you while you're walking in if you paid for it. it was like $5 but it wasn't worth it tbh it sucked lmao.

when you walk in you walk down a hallway with bright pink lighting and it's really cool, then there's a huge neon sign that says "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN..." and on the other wall, there's a map of the world and it shows where they've toured to and the amount of shows they've done and things like that. so you have to wait in that room for like ten minutes until they put you in the next.

the next room is a bunch of screens everywhere and it shows a bunch of movies and different clips and things and ahh it's super cool

then they release you into the legit museum.
the first part is what their life was like in the 60's, it shows you replicas of their old apartments and things like that

i don't remember the order of all the rooms, but there was another room of guitars and song lyrics. it had the original papers some songs were written on and lotsss of guitars and other classic artifacts.

another room had a sound studio and showed you their setup for recording

in one of the guitar rooms, they had headphones and screens where you could remix songs (there's was 6, the ones i remember were doom and gloom and angie, and i think she's so cold but i don't really remember what the other ones were)

then you walk upstairs and see things like stage designs and album covers. there's a giant tongue that changes colors and stuff, it's pretty cool.

it talks about some of their best photography sections and has some old polaroids, and shows how they did stage design and decided on album covers. also there was a wall about how they decided on the logo and things like that.

one of the last rooms was supposed to be like what it feels like backstage and you could touch some of their guitars and play them!! and they had a wall for darryl jones which is cool because a lot of people forget about him

the very last room was supposed to be like a 'concert experience'. they give you 3d glasses and the room is pitch black, then they have lights that go flashing everywhere and they play a 3d video of them playing start me up at a concert and i mean it's cool but it's not like a concert lol

after that you leave, and there's quotes on the wall and you have to walk down this really long hallway and then down a really big ramp and then it brings you outside !!

also if you walk around the corner, there's a big tongue with the american flag on it to take pictures on

the merch store is across the street from the entrance and some of the mercy is pretty damn cool!! they had some rolling stones vans and i was gonna buy some but i didn't lol. they had lots of old havana moon shirts and stuff like that.

the only problem i had with it is they totally excluded mick taylor but it's okay

there wasn't a lot of brian jones either?? no jones no stones man

but it's alright!!

it was super fun and it was totally worth the trip ((-:
