"I was walking with my friend in 5th grade. I knew I was on my period but I didn't know you got cramps from it. We were going to see the librarian so she could fix our class's laptop. When there, I bent over and put my hands on my knees, it was that painful. Nobody noticed. On the way back I started tearing and then my friend noticed. I told her that I thought it was a stomach ache and got sent to the nurse. The nurse gave me water and I went back to class. I figured out it was period cramps later, then I apologized to my friend, and I felt guilty and embarrassed about the useless nurse trip."
