Chapter-One

Justin's POV
I was in the studio all day recording & after six hours I was finished I took off my headphones & walked out of the booth laying down on the couch almost falling asleep until scooter told me something. Scooter: justin your best friend ryan butler is here with someone! Want me to have them come up? Jay: yes please! I said sitting up who could ryan have with him I'm thinking to myself I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door & scooter opened it I stood up to greet ryan & this person that he brought with him. I looked up & saw the most gorgeous young woman ever standing next to ryan holding hands. Ryan-B: hey bro! How have you been? Jay: great just busy! I replied giving a man hug to ryan then pulling away looking at the gorgeous woman standing next to him. Ryan-B: justin this is my girlfriend cody & this is the cody you met when she was three years old we met in oregon when I was there on business six months ago! When ryan told me who she was I was surprised & happy at the same time I walked over to her & gave her a hug & whispered in her ear. Jay: I've missed you cody! Then we pulled away but I couldn't keep my eyes off of her beautiful face. Jay: how about we go over to my house? Does that sound like a good idea? Ryan-B: sure bro! We left the studio & got into scooter's car because he picked me up from my house so he could drop us off at my house. S: ready to go? Jay: yep! We left & got into scooter's car & drove to my house. Jay: thanks for the ride scooter! Scooter: no problem bud I'll see you later! Jay: okay bye scoot! Scooter: bye guys! Scooter left & the three of us were walking up to the front door I got my keys out unlocked the door & the three of us were going inside & went to the living room to sit down & once we sat down ryan started something that I didn't like at all. Ryan-B: babe get me a beer! Jay: ryan we just walked in & sat down she's not going to get up & get you a beer & you don't talk to a woman like that! Cody: & even if you asked me nicely I still wouldn't get you a beer! & I don't appreciate you talking to me like that either or treating me like your slave in front of justin in his house! Ryan-B: YOU'RE MY FUCKING GIRLFRIEND & I CAN TREAT YOU HOW I WANT TO TREAT YOU FUCKING BITCH! (ryan backhanding cody across the face hard) Jay: RYAN WHY WOULD YOU FUCKING DO THAT TO HER? SHE DIDN'T DESERVE THAT YOU ASS-HOLE! I yelled at ryan then took cody with me to the kitchen to get some ice for her cheek. Jay: sit on the counter okay! she did as I said to do while I went to the freezer to get some ice then put it in a kitchen towel then placing it gently on her sore red cheek once the cold hit her cheek she flinched because of the pain. I had to ask if this was the first time he had hit her like this. Jay: was this the first time he hit you like this cody? I waited a few minutes before she could tell me I watched her closely & saw tears start to run down her cheeks I gently wipe them away still holding the ice on her cheek she raised her hand placing it on top of mine gently squeezing it closing her eyes then the tears started running faster down her cheeks. Cody: yes! She whispered looking up at me I couldn't believe it I can't believe ryan would hit such a beautiful young woman like her. I took her in my arms & just held her while I was hugging her I couldn't help but hear sobs coming from her. Jay: it's okay sweetie I'm not gonna let ryan touch you anymore I promise! Ryan-B: What the fuck is going on in here? The both of us jumped back & pulled away from each other looking behind us looking at ryan that just walked in from the living room. Cody: justin was just helping me calm down from earlier it's not like he kissed me ryan he didn't even attempt to try & make a move on me! He wouldn't do that to you ryan & besides I'm sick & tired of you hurting me ever since we started dating that's all you ever did was hurt me physically & verbally I'm tired of it & so is my parents they keep telling me to break up with you because of all the shit you've done to me this has gone on long enough! She said & walked out of the kitchen I looked at ryan & said. Jay: why would you hurt her ryan? She didn't deserve that slap from you! Ryan-B: you don't know her justin so just butt out of mine & cody's relationship! Jay: yeah I do know her I met her when she was three years old years ago & from the looks of it! It seems like she's now your ex girlfriend! & want to know something else? I don't blame her for breaking up with you! Let me ask you this question! When selena & I were dating did I ever abuse her by hitting her? Ryan-B: No but that's because your mom told you to treat a girl with respect & not hurt them! Jay: did your parents do the same thing with you? Did they tell you to treat a girl with respect? Ryan-B: yes! Jay: then how come you hurt cody & today you slapped her? Ryan-B: because she wouldn't get me a fucking beer! Jay: basically treated her like your own personal slave & I don't appreciate the way you treat her & quite honestly I wish she was my girlfriend because I wouldn't treat her like that I'd love her no matter what! Ryan-B: I'm done here I'm taking my girlfriend & we're leaving! He said walking out of the kitchen to the living-room I followed right behind. Ryan-B: Lets get out of here now! He said harshly to cody grabbing her by the arm pulling her off the couch. Cody: no ryan I'm not leaving with you I'm done with your crap that you've done to me! I very sneaky took my phone out of my pocket & texted scooter & told him to get over quickly. (imessage between justin & scooter) To Scooter: You need to get over here right now! From Scooter: I'm on my way over! To Scooter: thanks scooter! From Scooter: anytime bud! After I texted him I put my phone back in my pocket & waited for him to get here. After ten minutes the doorbell rang I opened it finding scooter I closed the door behind us so we could talk outside before we go inside. Scooter: what's going on justin? Jay: ryan's abusing cody by hurting her physically we walked in from you dropping us off we walked into the living-room & we didn't even sit down five minutes until ryan told cody to get him a beer! I said ryan we just got here & sat down she's not getting you a beer & she said even if you asked me nicely I wouldn't get you a beer & I don't appreciate you talking to me like that either or treating me like your slave she said. & he said you're my girlfriend I can treat you how I want to treat you then he back handed her across the face really hard & I said ryan why would you do that to her she didn't deserve that then I took cody into the kitchen to get some ice for her cheek I asked her if he did this before she said that he started doing it when they started dating her parents didn't approve of them dating & the way he was treating her physically they have told her to break up with him he must of told her something but now she broke up with him. (cody screaming) While we were talking outside we heard cody scream inside we ran inside to the living room finding ryan on top of cody ripping her clothes off her body both scooter & I ran over to them ripping ryan off of cody I told scooter to get him out of here. Jay: shhh it's okay sweetheart it's okay I'm here okay I'm not going anywhere! I said to her holding her in my arms & just let her cry. Jay: I'll be right back sweetheart okay! Cody: okay! I gently kissed her forehead then got up to get her a blanket I found one then went back to the living room finding cody sound asleep I slowly walked over to her & laid the blanket over her then kissed her forehead & whispered. Jay: I love you! I then went outside to see if scooter was still here with ryan once I was outside both scooter & ryan were still outside I was so angry I just wanted to strangle his fucking neck. Jay: How fucking dare you try to rape cody she didn't deserve that! Ryan-B: SHE DESERVED EVERY BIT OF BEING RAPED BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T GET MY BEER THAT I FUCKING ASKED FOR! Jay: you have legs you could have gotten off your fat ass & went to the kitchen & got yourself a beer you didn't need cody to get up from her seat & get you one! Ryan-B: SHE'S GOT LEGS TOO & SHE COULD USE THEM BY GETTING ME A FUCKING BEER! Jay: Scooter you can take ryan to the hotel & would you mind getting her things & bring them here for her please? Scooter: sure! Jay: thank you scooter! I watched them walk to scooter's car & was about to get in until I said something to ryan. Jay: by the way ryan! I said & made him turn around & look at me. Jay: our long lasting friendship is no longer a friendship because of what you did today! As far as I'm concerned our friendship between us is over & I really don't care if you tell our friends in canada because I'll tell them what you did I'll tell them the truth! Have a nice life I said then walked back inside to a sleeping cody I slowly walked into the living room I took off my shoes then laid down with cody wrapping my arms around her waist then she did something that I'd never expected her to do she snuggled up into my arms laying her head on my chest with her face snuggling into my neck & before I knew it I was out with this gorgeous young woman laying next to me in my arms.
