Chapter 27

I walked down the hall very carefully, the flats I had slipped on not making a sound. I at least wasn't barefoot anymore like I was earlier. As I walked, I memorized the halls and walked carefully to make sure nothing would fall the wrong way on my dress.

The two guards behind me would love to push me if I wasn't going fast enough and I would stumble, possibly causing a mini show for them but making sure they never saw much if that ever did happen.

I stayed a good pace for the most part though. As I walked, I noticed I hadn't spotted a single window. How was I going to escape if there were no escape routes? I would have to ask Lia, she most likely would know the way out.

It wasn't long before we reached the big room, this time being used as a dining room, the walk this time being much shorter. The doors were opened and as soon as I was in, they were shut behind me.

All eyes were turned on me. There was a lot of people, every single table in the room being filled. At the very end of the room at the end table sat Dominic and his eyes were trained on me, drinking me in. I felt really disgusted with his look and all the other vampire's looks.

When I looked at the other vampires I saw lust, but not the kind I thought it would be. It was blood lust. They wanted my blood, badly. But it was because of Dominic they weren't having it, which I was thankful for because I wouldn't have roughly 100 vampires wanting to drink me dry and fighting over me.

I ignored them all as I walked down to where Dominic sat. It was not the easiest thing to do but I managed to do it just barely. They would stop talking as I walked by to stare at me and would resume when I passed them. Dominic gestured toward the seat I was supposed to sit at, which was next to him on the side of the table.

As soon as I sat down, the talk and laughter resumed but I always saw vampires sneaking glances at me.

Meanwhile, Dominic kept looking at me like I was his favorite snack and he just stared at me as I stared down at my plate. I wasn't sure if I should trust what was on it or not. Dominic said he wouldn't kill me, but that didn't mean I could trust him not to do other things.

For the next couple of minutes then I just stared at my food while Dominic analyzed me, watching every little thing I did. Suddenly, he stood up. The entire room fell silent as they waited to see what he would say and I even slightly glanced at him wondering what he was going to say, though it most likely would be nothing good.

"As you all know," he started, "we all have a new human with us." Some vampires cheered but what he said next made them yell louder, "and a virgin at that. This one is mine. Anyone of you touch her and I'll personally kill you, unless I give you permission of course. That's your only warning." Some people laughed and others looked like they really wanted that permission. I shivered in disgust hoping that would not be given. One was bad enough, I did not want more.

"Now, what you may not know is that she is also the mate to a werewolf." He smirked, satisfied at this as they cheered louder. Once they quieted down with a wave of his hand, his smile widened, "and we all know how the werewolf is going to react with his mate missing, especially knowing it was by us. It doesn't matter what rank that werewolf is, whomever it may be, the entire pack of those filthy dogs will come after us because well, we are their enemy." They laughed at this again and quickly quieted down again. "So we will be ready when they attack and they won't even stand a chance. So when they attack, it will be a good day and we can finally take over the pack, taking whomever and doing whatever we want!" He raised his glass and other vamps did too and they drank to it.

He sat back down soon after that and he watched me again. I sat there uncomfortably under his gaze and he eventually said, "you better eat something. I didn't do anything to the food. You need your strength and you don't want me to force feed you, trust me. Now eat." He said all of that before I could refuse and I slowly picked up my fork and ate a piece of steak, not wanting him to force feed me thinking of the worst possible scenarios on how he could do it.

When I didn't taste anything suspicious besides it being good food, I ate it much more willing and drank the wine that was given to me. I wasn't a big fan of wine but this was okay. He watched as I ate everything and he took sips of his glass of blood.

When I finished, I felt tired but satisfied. It had been a long day and I just wanted it to be over.

"I'll escort you back," he said drowning the rest of his cup and standing up. Before I could even register what was happening, he grabbed my elbow and dragged me out of the room and out the door. He started walking quickly back in the direction I had came, I just barely able to keep up, before he suddenly veered off into a different hallway, one I wasn't familiar with. Everything became a blur and I couldn't speak up, like my tongue was tied, so I couldn't ask where we were going.

It wasn't long before we reached whatever the destination was because he quickly opened the door and slammed it behind us after he pulled me in. After that, he pushed me up against the door. I barely registered everything that was going on and finally caught up after he had slammed me against the door. I looked up at him, wide eyed and scared finding I couldn't move.

"I've been waiting all night to get another taste of you. You've been a naughty girl teasing me with your blood, making me want you, I must punish you now." His fangs than dug into my neck and it was excruciating. All I could do was cry silently.

I relied heavily on him while he held me up, keeping me pressed between the door and him as he drank from me. I never felt so hopeless before in my life. As he continued to drink, I could feel my life slipping away from me and I started to see dark spots in front of my eyes. It was then he pulled away and I saw the blood dripping from his mouth as he licked it away. The look in his eyes was satisfied and he smiled.

"Good girl," he said, "I think that's an easy enough punishment for one day. Next time may not be so easy. Next time, your little dress may come off if I hear from someone you're trying to cover yourself, or in something else that doesn't leave much more to imagine, do you want that? I know I would like that and so would every other vampire here. Or I'll let another one borrow you, let them do anything but one thing of course, and I do mean anything. So don't ever try covering yourself again because of a wardrobe malfunction. Got that?"

If I could answer him, I would've especially when he slowly ripped the dress from the slit below my breast with his claw, traveling down, toward the other slit at my hip. "I said got it?"

I made a noise in the back of my throat, indicating that I did, stopping before he reached the other slit. "Pity, I would have liked to this dress come off, but this is fine too. Now, I can't let you die because I would love more of your blood so..." he bit his wrist and shoved it on my mouth, opening my mouth wide and forcing me to drink it again.

I slowly felt myself feeling my limbs again and my tongue not be as tongue tied as it was before. When he was satisfied, he pulled his wrist away and said, "well, better get you to bed, you have many long days ahead of you. We need to keep your strength up."

He then picked my limp body up and we were quickly back to my room in a flash where I was laid down and he looked into my eyes and I felt my body quickly fall asleep under his compulsion.

Long awaited chapter but it's here! I hope I made it up to you by making it longer in length. Merry Christmas everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you all have a wonderful year ahead of you and full fill your dreams! I hope to have more time so I can finish this story. That is my wish, then start a new one I have in mind.
