Dear fellow sisters/brothers.

This is just a very short but encouraging poem I am putting up.
I am pleased to share this beautiful poem my friend sent to me via email. It is one of the most encouraging things I've ever heard regarding dating and marriage. I would love to give some credit to the sister who sent it to me:

K3YOU7

And Regarding the sister who wrote it, all credit goes to you and we thank you for providing this source of encouragement and we are positive Jehovah will bless your efforts.

My dear sisters (Or brothers you might have to change the poem around a bit hehe), May this poem help you to see that Jehovah only ever wants the very best for us and that he will in time give you the man(or woman for guys) you deserve. Always remember that:
"What you are, you will attract." Or "You reap what you sow."
Try and discern the "Secret person of the heart." And not just the surface(Appearance.) Take the Example: of a car. Instead of basing all your opinions on the outside, wouldn't it make more common sense to also examine the inside? Or even the condition of the engine? Similarly, when looking for a mate, it is their inside that really matters, because what you see isn't always what you get.
So brothers and sisters, really try and look beyond those superficial qualities. Plus, overall make sure you are trusting in Jehovah when you make any decision!
(Proverbs 3:5,6)
Always stick close to him and rely on him for everything, we would never want to resort to an unbelieving mate because it will only make our service to Jehovah even harder. Full devotion to Jehovah, such as loving him with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength and constantly reading his word will no doubt benefit you Emotionally,Mentally,Physically and Spiritually. (Mark 12:30)
Be assured of his love for you and the things you do for him will never be forgotten. (Hebrews 6:10)
Enjoy!
(Psalms 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7, 2 Corinthians 6:14)

Love from your sister, Nikita.

PERFECT BUT NOT FOR ME

I went to a dinner with a friend one day
She looked around, I heard her say:
"There's a handsome guy across the way!"
He had a smile like a morning sun
Lighting the sky when the day is done
Strong in spirit, built very well
Well-dressed and strong, that I could tell.
He glistens like stars in heaven
We heard someone called his name, "Arvin"
He was perfect in every way you see
But if he's not serving Jehovah
He's really not for me.

I saw a man walking down the street
Sophisticated, smart and hard to beat
I was standing there, showing a magazine
At that time, this man came on the scene
He took the magazine and asked my name
I told it to him, and asked him the same.
He said, "What a fine work! May I take you to a dinner?"
My heart said silently, "This sounds like a winner!"
I looked at his face and his deep blue eyes
Then my heart starts clearing, erasing the lies
Though he seemed perfect in every way you see,
If he is not serving Jehovah, he's really not for me.

I met a man at work one day
He stared a while, then i heard him say:
"You're so beautiful! Most beautiful I've seen
You must have dropped from heaven
From where you have been!"
I thought, "What line so smooth, perfect to seduce!"
The way he looked at me, I could melt in my shoes
But if I forget Jehovah and his perfect way
It'd surely mean death in Jehovah's day
Once again, though he seemed perfect in every way you see
If he's not serving Jehovah, he's certainly not for me.

If you desire a Christian mate,
Act at once! Do not hesitate
Remember Psalm fifty five and verse twenty two
It contains something good, both for me and you.
Don't put your problems up on the shelf
Throw your burden on Jehovah himself
Talk to him in silent prayers
He will give to you whatever is fair
God answers all prayers, he really is not slow
Jehovah may answer you with a yes or a no.
Don't kick against goads and stumble
Don't make problems for yourself and tumble.

Sisters, lift your heads up high on the sky
Wait on God and let your problems pass by
The way you should walk he also will show
For you what is best, Jehovah does know.
They may all look perfect with your eyes you see
But if serving Jehovah is not the course of he
Then, my friend, it is safe for you to expect
He's not for you nor for me
He's not really perfect.
Take it slow, think it through
Jehovah wants the very best for you.
