Rejection is Worse than Death

I winced at the words that came out of Zayne's mouth he was correct though I had killed four of their guards as well as I almost killed my own mate. I had no choice though, if I hadn't fought back with Zayne, he would have killed me on the spot. I would have killed him if it wasn't for our bond. I wasn't as heartless as he was, I actually still had that bond to him. I always will till I die. I sat very still as Shadow growls lowly looking at Zayne and hisses out

"She had no other choice Zayne! You were going to kill her yourself if she didn't try to fight for her own life.  Anyways we will be staying here for a couple nights anyways so deal with it Zayne. At least let me be happy for once."

This tore my heart as I was staring at Shadow with a bit of sadness. Now wondering what had happened to him to make him unhappy in his life. Shadow glanced at me making me look away I had almost forgotten my many scars that I live with because of the hunters forest and the fight with Zayne. My heart sank as I realized that they will be here for a couple of days, would I be with Rain the whole time or would I be in my cellar? Rain stood up while he half heartedly smiled and says

"Well I hope you have a nice stay here, Mini and I need to talk a bit."

My body shook for a bit his tone was low and husky making me worried that he was upset with me. Shadow and Zayne nod their heads, Shadow walked up to where I was sitting and held his hand out in front of me waiting for me to shake it. I quickly look at Rain knowing all too well that if I even lightly brush Shadow's skin he will know who I am. Rain quickly says

"I'm sorry Shadow but Mini can not be touch for she is mine."

"Oh... is this your mate?"

My eyes widen and snap to Rain as my wolf was going crazy wanting to scream out NO!!! Rain half smiled and said

"Of course not, look at her she would not fit as the Female Alpha of my pack. She's just my play toy."

That answer was even worse then Rain telling them I was his mate. That actually hurt my feelings, all of a sudden Zayne bursted out laughing making my eyes  snap towards him as they watered up. I stare at my mate in utter disbelief. How could he be this cruel? Did he honestly think I was that bad looking... yet in the hallway he seemed like he was interested in me. Shadow looked at me with pity as I started to get up to leave but a firm hand gripped my shoulder and pushed me back into the stool. I looked up seeing Rain as I stared up at him. Shadow smacked Zayne in the back of his head as Zayne growled out

"Alpha Rain is right though brother look at her, she looks like she has been through hell and back."

Shadow smacked him in the chest as he shoves him out of the room looking back at me with a sorry look. The door slams as Rain gets in my face with a very unhappy face as he hisses out

"Stay. away. from. them. Do you understand White Demon? If you are with me that is ok but other then that avoid them or I will kill you."

"Yes Sir..."

Rain growls to himself as he starts to pace back and forth as he hisses out

"Fuck... We have a fight in a day or so with the Ika Pack. SHIT!"

All of a sudden I felt the stinging pain on my face followed by flesh hitting flesh as I fall to the ground as I stayed down l knowing my place all to well. I had gotten use to the smacking and hitting it was like a daily thing for me now. Once I saw Rain sit down I slowly picked myself up and sat in my stool  as I was supposed to do. I looked at Rain as he had an angry look on his face. I then softly say

"Master Rain... You are my master and I will not leave your side."

Rain looks at me angrily but doesn't say anything, my fear of being useless was heightening each day. It is said once the White Demon is useless to your pack you may get rid of the abomination. With Rain I can see it coming closer and closer each day.Rain shakes his head as he hisses out
