Mother's World, Kittimi Meets The Modern World

-------------------------------------

"Inuyasha stop stalling up there and hurry up!" Kagome yells toward the roof of the hut. "We are going to be late to our own daughters 5th birthday."

"I'm coming calm down," Inuyasha jumps down from the roof and looks into the hut, "now its your turn to hurry up Kagome."

Kagome steps out from the dark hut holding a young girl with the night sky blue hair that flowed, as if it was being blown, all on its own. Small specks of silver were seen in her hair. Her hair was a reflection of the night sky. Kagome was also a half-demon now. Thanks to the near death experiance of giving birth to Kittimi. "come on Inuyasha, we need to get to the other side of the well." Kagome sets Kittimi down and holds her hand.

Kittimi looks up at her mother. Her silver eyes sparkled and she smiles sweetly. Her fangs were small but pure as the driven snow. "I'll do it by myself." She says softly and lets go and begins to run toward the well. Inuyasha swiftly picks her up and holds her in his arms

"Oh no you don't" he laughs and begins to run with Kagome at his side toward the well. Kittimi didn't understand what was going on. Usually she was allowed to go to the well without being carried. She had never got inside of the well or had been to the other side of the well before. She sticks out her bottom lip and begins to pout.

When they get to the well Kagome jumps in first. Then Inuyasha and Kittimi.

When they reached the other side Kittimi struggled to get loose from her father's grip. "daddy let me go I want to run on my own" she whines. Inuyasha jumps out of the well and sets her down.

"Not yet, we have something to show you." Inuyasha laughs as he watches her try to get out of the hut that kept the well hidden, but is stopped by her father.

She sits down quickly and commences to pouting on the ground. Kagome walks back into the hut that hides the well and picks up Kittimi "come on Kittimi don't pout. We have a surprise for you today." Kittimi sighs and looks up at her mother with a gentle smile

"all right mommy" she says softly. Kagome walks out o the hut and toward the house that she used to live in. It has only been 7 years since she graduated high school and last saw the shrine that her family protected. They were in for a big suprise. Inuyasha was the person who had traveled back and forth from world to world to get things prepared for today. Sota was now a senior in high school with a girlfriend. Unlike Kagome, Sota was very good at his school work and was there every day for his high school career. Inuyasha went ahead of Kagome to tell everyone that they were there now and to start getting ready. This would be the first time that Kittimi would meet her mother's side of the family.

Kittimi's eyes widen in amazement as she gazes upon the modern age. Her small dog ears twitched at random sounds she had never heard before. Kagome stands up straight and closes her eyes taking in a deep breath. The sense of being home helped ease her soul one again.

Through Kittimi's eyes

Mommy looks around and gazes at a very fancy hut. I walk up behind her and take her hand. "where are we?" I ask her as i sniff the air. I can smell a faint scent of mommy coming from a slightly opened window at the top of the fancy hut. I take a single step forward, trying to get a better smell.

"We are in my home world," mommy says softly then she leads me to the door of the hut. "this is where i grew up and lived until i met your father. This place is called a house. Its not a normal hut that we live in. It has electricity and things that help you live better, like a refrigerator."

"Re-frig-a-gator? Mommy what is this re-frig-a-gator?" I try to ask as we begin to walk toward this 'house'.
