The Person I knew

Right from childhood

We knew each other well

Teasing ourselves as much as we could

Playing in the park and hearing that old church bell

But then we grew older

We drifted apart

Tattoos and drugs became your art

A cold dark vacuum replaced your heart

Then you threw me out of your life completely

You became the person I once knew

The person I constantly wished you weren't

But the day you ruined my life with your crew

Was the day I learned to forget you

My mind erased all memories

My heart kicked you out like trash

And I'm sorry

But it would stay this way forever
