The Couch

I lay back down once more

No more screams do I have to give

I close my eyes slowly

Pictures surface immediately

You are smiling at me happily

You laugh at me musically

You shine at me like the sun

You run at me and embrace me warmly

I sigh in utter peace

The couch rocks and I hit the floor

I'm in a river of blood

Eye balls flow past blinking

Horror fills me overflowing

The TV snaps on

I see you glaring at me

Hate bleeds from hanging flesh

You point at me wickedly

You open lips and spiders fall forth

They march upon me

I begin to cry as shame fills me

I can't defeat you

I close my eyes praying

Screaming coats the air

Shit is all I smell

Silence once again flows dreamily

I open my eyes too nothing
