Chapter three

She buried her muzzle into the snow to wash of his blood before bounding out of the clearing. Her fuchsia eyes gleamed in the moonlight as she padded towards the den of her past clan mates. She was alone now, scars of the lives lost strewn across the ground.  Scars of the humans lay lodged into the cave walls as she ran her muzzle searching for some fragment to hold onto to, to know that it wasn’t a nightmare. She shut her eyes slowly as her dirtied pelt shifted into a soft white gown as her face was troubled. Her white skin lay clean and of porcelain as her body was lean against the gown. Her fine silver hair cascaded down her back as she gently ran her fingertips against the cave walls. Nothing…there was nothing to hold onto, not even the hate she held for that man’s kind. Kiara went to lay down in the snow before gasping in pain. Her soft fuchsia eyes closed gently as she walked slowly back to the cave and lay down to rest. All was silent now… even the snow.
