I'm scared
What will you look like?
How will I react?
Will I walk away?
Will I cry?
I fear not you but how I will see you laying upon that bed
As the slight beats of your heart ring in my ears
I don't know what I will feel
When I see you
But I will be as strong as I can
You may not hear me
You may not see me
But I'm here
I'm here telling you goodbye
I'll miss you
I know I won't hear you
I know I won't see you
But I will know you will be with me
Watching over us down here on earth
Your with the angels and god now
I hear heavens a great beautiful place
So don't be scared
Grammy is up there too
So you won't be alone
Pappy
I'll miss you and
I love you
Bye bye Pappy
~I wrote this January 11, 2013 when I was on my way to see my great grandfather, Wilbert Koerbel, in the hospital. He was hooked up to so many machines. He died a little while after I got to see him. I wrote this poem to him. I ask please do not critique this in any way because it is my goodbye to him. So please and thank you.~
