Richard has been in this prison for a total of 26 months and he found a way to get out he had learned how to control the metal teleportors it's armor and he was going to use it to get out he had to practice so long because he knew if he didn't know how to use it at all the aliens would probably kill him he didn't know how strong they were but he knew they had to be at least a little strong they killed everyone on the plain didn't they he knew he would be better off if he practiced more but there was no way he could master it it would take a year or 2 or 3 and he couldn't take it he already couldn't take it he had to get out it was making him crazy and he knew it wasn't a picnic for sophie they went to discuss the plan one more time
