Monster Childhood -

He's watching you - but only in your head.

Your peacefully sleeping - he's underneath your bed.

Waking up next morning - he's gone, left you wondering.

He's behind you when you walk - but only you can see him.

Your home now - he's on your back.

About to sleep - better turn on the lamp

He's in your wardrobe - sneaking about.

Drifting off back to sleep - he makes a nasty thump.

Now you know he's coming - he's almost half way there.

He's walking to your bed - you can only stare.

As Daddy gives you a kiss goodnight.
