Okay.
We all know (or I hope you all know) about birthdays. They celebrate our birth, make us feel special. We also get to eat cake and ice-cream freely. But what is the deal with 'Half-Birthdays'?!
What is the point? You're celebrating six more months of living. Whooh-hooh. Yay. Really, what is the point?
A year is understandable. Every year, a tree gets another ring, a squirrel reproduces, a flower is reborn. Every six months, the seasons don't even change. NOTHING THAT BIG CHANGES BETWEEN SIX MONTHS, PEOPLE. Nothing. Who cares if you're a half-year older? Who? Nobody. Not even Facebook cares.
