The raindrops kept coming

Plummeting towards the ground

She continued running

Not wanting to be found

She'd walked away

Not a moment to soon

"It's about time," they say

She kept her mind in tune

Days had past since

Her last song

The distance

And the time too long

Raindrops roaring

Dark clouds forming 

Not as gentle

As they once were

The endless crashing

Didn't seem to bother her

While her skies were grim and grey

She just walked the other way

With her fists madly swinging

And her ears softly ringing

She some how she knows

she'll be okay...
