Trampoline

This is entirely original. I've never seen another imagine about it and if there is one, I probably requested it😄

Your POV

"Hey, Shawn?" I called through the house.
"Yeah, babe?" Shawn said, coming downstairs to stand next to me.
I laced my arms around his neck and looked up at him. "I'm bored. Let's do something."
"Well, what do you wanna do?" Shawn asked, smiling.
"Um... How about we go out on the trampoline?"
Shawn chuckled but he just said "Okay, let's go."
When I was younger, I was in gymnastics and even now,when I was 20 years old, I still liked all that stuff. So, for my birthday, Shawn got me a trampoline, so I could still do all the flips and stuff. It had the kiddie net up because I was accident prone and if there was no net, I would probably end up in the hospital multiple times.
Shawn reached the trampoline first and he unzipped the door and let me in first. I kicked off my shoes and climbed in. Shawn followed me. When Shawn was in, I got to my feet and began jumping. Shawn stood up in front of me and began jumping with me. I grabbed his hand, still jumping. But as soon as I had his hand, he slammed himself down so that he landed on his butt. His weight took me with him. I ended up on the trampoline floor, on my stomach, laughing along with Shawn. After a second I got up and told Shawn to move, so I could attempt a flip. I did one, but it wasn't perfect.
"I can do better than that" Shawn scoffed.
"Then prove it, Mendes."
"Alright, I will."
He began jumping and eventually pulled himself into a perfect flip.
"I give that about a 5" I declared.
"Out of 5?" Shawn asked.
"Out of 10."
"That was at least an 8, then."
"Of course you would think that. That's why I'm the judge." (A/N Shoutout if you know what book/movie that's from!!!!)
Shawn laughed and walked over to me, pulling me into a hug.
"I love you. So much" he whispered into my hair.
I smiled and said "I love you too. A lot."
We spent about an hour on the trampoline just kind of showing off.
(I just wanna show off!!!!! Come on baby take your clothes off!!!!" OK. I'm sorry. I'll stop now)

Later, I sat in between Shawn's legs with his arms wrapped around my waist and his chin on my shoulder as we watched the sun slowly sink behind the horizon.
"I don't wanna go back inside" I sighed.
"Then let's don't. We could sleep out here."
I thought about it for a second. It sounded like fun. A night on the trampoline, under the stars with my boyfriend.
"Let's do it. Let's go get blankets and stuff" I said, crawling over to the door. I slid out and ran to the house. I went to our closet with all the extra blankets. I pulled out a pile of them and set them by the door. By now, Shawn was in the house.
"Come on. We have to go get changed" I said, grabbing Shawn's hand and pulling him to the bedroom. I went to the dresser and rummaged around for pajamas. I found two T-shirts and pairs of sweatpants. I threw Shawn's outfit at him and he caught it laughing. I started to strip. I took off my jeans and "daytime shirt" and changed into the sweats. Shawn did the same. Then we went back and got the blankets and took them all to the trampoline. We spread out the thickest one to make a makeshift mattress and we were going to use the fluffiest one as a cover. The rest of the blankets went off to the side in case we needed them. Shawn and I laid down and Shawn pulled the fluffy blanket over us.
I laid back and looked at the sky.
"Shawn look." I yelled. "There's a shooting star. Make a wish!"
Shawn smiled. "I don't need to. I have everything I need right here." He hugged me closer and I realized he was right. I had Shawn and that was all I really needed. I was happy.
Both of us were lying on our sides and Shawn's arm was wrapped around me. I wrapped my arm around him and slipped my fingers underneath his shirt. I gently ran my nails over his bare back.
"That feels so good" Shawn sighed, closing his eyes.
"I love you" I whispered.
"I love you too" Shawn mumbled. Soon, I fell asleep, under the stars with Shawn's arms around me.

I really liked the ending❤️ But sorry if the rest of it was terrible. I just found out that a couple that represents true love for me, is getting a divorce (Joshua and Colleen. I love you if you know who they are) So this was kind of written on a broken heart
