My life is filled with sorrow and tears
A silent prayer it seems unreal
A cry from a weary soul -a prayer
from a broken heart- hope and faith
they seem so far.
My life is filled with unbearable pain
As i turn my back to hide my face
As i see the hurt upon my mother's face
OH HOW I WISH i could wipe it away.
As i take a breath to calm the beating
of my heart-
I turn around to comfort her
but words they never came-
So i open my arms and took her
Into my embrace-with hope and faith
That everything will turn out right.
This life seems unfair all i want
Is an answered prayer.
