A Poem I Wrote In a Few Minutes

The screeching wind rips at my face

Salt spray cuts into my eyes

The waves rage and thrash

"MAN THE WHEEL" I hear

I run aross the deck, sliding slipping

A sudden gust tears me off the hard wood planks

I am thrown into the cold merciless waves

Sinking, slowly sinking

My lungs scream for air

My body refuses to move

Dying. I am dying.

I fade into obilivon

The warm darkness wraps around me

I let myself go.

I am one with the sea. I am no longer me.
