As the darkness comes over me once again,
I feel myself descending into the never ending hole.
Where all the hate, guilt and pain,
Leaks into my soul.
All the scars that have been hidden,
Show themselves once again.
The secrets that are forbidden,
Leave their newly fitted chain.
And as I lift the piece of glass,
I slowly dig it in to my skin.
For all the things I let past,
And every war I let you win.
I make my new mark,
I let the tears flow down my face.
My pain flows into the dark,
Hopefully into another place.
