Summary: Emery Landon was, well, a bitch in high school. She was a Miss Popular, though she never intended it to happen. So, once Emery graduates, she's off to California to meet up with her long-lost cousin to fulfill her one and only dream: to become a singer.
Her cousin is Niall Horan (yes, the famous one) and she's to live with him for however-long-it-takes-before-she's-discovered. Emery does not know much about One Direction (the only name she knows of the boys is her cousin's!) and she doesn't want to.
She despises them. She believes that they're annoying, rude, immature, and completely and totally conceded. But, soon, she opens up to them and learns to like them and enjoy their company. Right when things were going good, the unexpected happens: Emery gets discovered.
Suddenly Emery is thrust into a world of gossip, intrigue, humor, adventure, and, yes, romance.
