I strut past Liam and Tori on their bed, mentally praying that they don't ask me where I'm going. We've been gone for two days now and I can't stay pent up in this hotel room any longer. I need to get out. I need to get Louis off of my mind because, right now, he is all I can think about.

"Where are you going?" Tori doesn't bother to look up from the cards in her hands. She sets on of the red cards down on the stack between her and Liam. They've been playing some card game for the past hour.

"Out." I stare straight at the wooden door.

"We're coming with." Tori moves on the bed behind me.

I whirl around, anger coursing through my veins. "No, you're not! You already crashed my escape and now you want to join me to go out tonight! Look, I get that you are trying to help me, but I don't need your help. I'm fine." I grab my purse from the table near the door. "Don't wait up."

That's the last thing I say before I storm out of our hotel room. I love Tori to death, but she has become like a very clingy mother who just doesn't know when to stop. I'm a big girl and I don't need her or Liam's help.

When we drove here the other day, I saw a bar not too far from here. After everything I've been through, I could use a drink. I've never been a big drinker. Even on tour, when everyone would go out after a show, I would hang back and talk to my fans on Twitter. Olly once convinced me to have a beer after I had a fight with Chase. That's the only time I ever really drank.

The bar smells of alcohol and smoke which is no surprise to me. A rundown bar like this isn't going to look or smell any better. A couple guys that resemble truck drivers are sitting at the bar or a random tables with glass mugs filled with various alcohols. I make my way to an open seat at the bar where one of the bartenders makes his way over to me.

"What can I get a pretty girl like you?" The bartender wipes the counter with a dirty rag.

I shoot him a flirty smile. "How about you surprise me?"

He returns my smile and grabs a mug from behind the counter. "Sounds good to me."

I tuck a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, examining the rest of the bar. Everyone in here seems to be on the verge of being drunk and if I keep up with what I'm doing, I won't be far behind. I need to get rid of all of this pain in me. Alcohol is the only way to do it.

The bartender slides a drink in my direction. Not bothering to ask him what it is, I chug the whole thing down, coughing a little bit from the burn in my throat. The guy raises an eyebrow at me then to the empty glass that once held the alcohol in it.

"Give me another, but stronger." I slide the empty glass across the wood counter.

"Rough night?" He picks up my glass and begins to mix me another drink.

"Something like that." I pull out a fifty dollar bill and slam it on the bar.

"What's his name?" He hands the glass back to me.

"Pardon?" I furrow my eyebrows together, wrapping my hands around the cool glass.

The bartender leans up against the bar. "The guy that made you pissed off unless it was a family issue. I get girls that come in here about one of the two problems."

I drink a quarter of the alcohol, the burning sensation in my throat starting up again. "Jared." I lie, not wanting to give his real name.

The guy nods, tossing his rag over his shoulder. "What did he do? Sleep with another girl? Forget your anniversary?"

"We're not dating." I calmly state. "We just kissed and I don't want to talk about him anymore."

No more than thirty minutes later, five empty glasses surrounding me, I'm freely talking to Chris, the bartender that has been supplying me with endless amounts of alcohol, about how much I hate Louis. The alcohol flowing through my body has made me not care what I say or do because for once in my life, I'm completely numb. I feel zero pain. I've slipped a few times about Louis's real name, but I don't care. I'm so drunk that Chris is probably only talking to me because he thinks he may have a chance with me tonight. He could care less about my problems.
