Brick Room

I am trapped in a brick room

With no doors or windows here,

I built it myself but can't recall

How I'm meant to escape

I built this brick room

Made of misfortune and fear

Yet in this brick room

I feel safe

But in this brick room

I start to contemplate

Is it a trap

It must not be secure

In this brick room

No one can hear

My screams of anguish and fury

My calls of despair

I realize that this brick room

Is failed protection

For what is out there
