(Luke p.o.v.)
I wake up before kennly does and I go out to the fridge and grab a water and see all the boys watching TV. Til can you come here? I ask as I walk to the bunks. Yeah uncle Luke? He asks as he comes to the bunks. Can you help me get the boys ready? I want to take kennly down to her hometown that's about an hour and half away to see her family since yesterday was her birthday and I have the day off so I figured we can all go and have some fun. I tell him. Alright that sounds good to me I can get the boys ready. He says as he grabs their bags and grabs some clothes for the 3 of them. Alright I'm going to wake kennly up and we'll get ready and then we'll stop somewhere and get breakfast before we go. I tell him before I walk to my room. Come on kennly time to get up. I say as I gently shake her. Alright I'm up. She says as she raises up and stretches. Come on you and me have to get ready then we're going to get breakfast then we're going on a drive. I tell her as I go to the dresser and pull out some clothes for me. Alright I'll be ready in 15. She says as she leaves the room. We all finish getting ready and head to McDonald's to grab some breakfast, then we start our drive to Corbin. 
I just pulled up to kennly's mom's house. I get the boys out then I open kennly's door. Come on sweetheart you'll want to see this. I tell her as I help her out of the truck. Alright she says as she gets out. Luke what are we doing here? She asks as she gives me a hug. Well since I have the day off today me and the boys thought we would bring you to see your family for your birthday. I tell her as I grab her hand and pull her behind me as I head up on to the porch and I make sure she is behind me when I knock on the door so we can surprise her mom. I'm coming. I hear someone yell. Hello? A woman a few years older than kennly says as she opens the door. Hello.I say as I hold my hand out to shake her's. Hey mom you need to come here Luke Bryan is at the door. She turns around and hollers and I laugh. Abby why would he be here? A older woman asks as she and kennly's brother make their way to the door. Well I can answer that. You see I had a concert in Lexington yesterday and I met Melissa and Tegan in the meet and greets and they told me it was kennly's birthday so I asked for your address so I could send something to you for her, but I know she has been missing y'all and is working on a way to come visit so I figured I'd do something even better for her so I decided to bring her to see her family. I tell them as I move out of the way so they see kennly. Kennly! We've missed you so much. Her mom says as she pulls her into a hug. Why don't y'all come in? Her brother asks as they walk in so I grab tate and follow him in with til and bo behind me.

We all go in and mom and Abby sit on the couch while Kalub sits in the chair and me Luke and the boys stand in front of the door. I decide to introduce everyone. Luke this is my mom Sarah, my sister abby, and brother Kalub. Y'all this is Luke, his nephew til, his son bo, and his son Tate. I tell them. Nice to meet y'all. Til says as he shakes each of their hands. Nice to meet you to. Mom says. So mom where's alisia? I ask her. She's got her kids and kalub's two at the movies. She says as she turns the TV down. Abby where's your two at? I ask her. Zach took them to his parents house and I came over here to visit with mom. Keke? Tate asks. Yes tater bug. I say as I crouch down to his level. I'm sleepy will you hold me? He asks as he holds his arms up. Come here tater bug. I tell him and I pick him up and Luke helps me up. I hold tate for about 10 minutes until he falls asleep. You want me to take him? Luke asks as he holds his arms out. Naw I'm alright I'm going to go lay him on the bed in kalub's room. I tell him. I lay tate down and we talk with them for a few more hours and Luke gets to meet Abby's girls. Alright y'all I think we're going to head out. I tell them as I stand up and give them all a hug. Nice meeting y'all maybe I'll see y'all again sometime. Luke says as he shakes Kalub and Zach's hands and hugs mom and Abby and Abby's girls. We head out to the truck and get in. Where to now? Luke asks looking at me. Well I was thinking we could stop by and see my aunt because she would be upset if I didn't see her while I was here then go get something to eat. I tell him. Sounds good to me. So where does your aunt live? He asks as he starts the truck. I give him directions and we pull up and I see my aunt and my uncles sitting outside with my grandma. Well I guess I'll see them all. I'll try to make it quick. I tell Luke as I open my door and he nods. Keke wait can I come with you? Tate asks from the back seat. Sure sweetie. I tell him as I get out and shut my door and get him out of the back. I walk around the front of the truck and up on the sidewalk and none of them are paying attention. OK tate I'm going to sneak up on them so you stay here for a minute OK? I ask him and he nods. I walk up behind my uncle Shawn and I grab his side and say what are you doing? What the hell? kennly you got me. He says as I bust out laughing and give them all a hug. OK come here tater bug. I tell him as I put my arms out and he comes over and I pick him up. What are you doing here keke I thought you said it would be a little bit before you could come and see us? my uncle Randy asks. Well I did say that but... I was saying then tate cut me off by saying daddy bring her for her birthday. Really? Are you dating someone now? My grandma asks as Shawn stares at Luke's truck. No I'm not now stop staring Shawn it ain't gonna do anything. I tell him as I slap his arm. So is he going to get out of the truck and meet us? my aunt crystal asks. Well he was going to wait in the truck while I came and seen you for a bit then we was going to go get something to eat and head back to Lexington. But I can see if he wants to get out and meet y'all. I tell them as I walk towards my side of the truck. Hey they want to know if you're going to come meet them.I tell him. Sure I'll come meet them, one question why was that one staring over here like he's gonna kill me? he asks as he turns the truck off. That's my uncle they asked what I was doing here because I told them that it would be a little bit before I could visit and I was talking and tate cut me off by saying daddy brought her for her birthday and my grandma asked if we was dating he was staring because my uncles are protective of me. I tell him as I walk around to the end of the sidewalk. Luke gets out and til and bo do too we walk up the sidewalk and introduce everyone. Luke this is my grandma Brenda, my uncle Shawn, my uncle Randy and his wife crystal, my aunt kristy and her husband matthew, y'all this is Luke, his nephew til, his son bo, and his son tate. Luke shakes each of their hands. So ke how do you know Luke Bryan? Shawn asks as he sits there and stares at Luke like he can't believe he's here. Well y'all know I got a new job I'm now working for Luke. I tell them. We sit and talk to them for an hour and a half until tate starts to say he's hungry. Alright y'all we're going to go get something to eat so we can get back to Lexington. Love y'all. I tell them as I give each of them a hug. Luke and the boys say their goodbyes and I pick tate up and put him in the truck and shut his door and Luke opens mine for me. Thank you. I tell him as I climb in. You're welcome. He says as he shuts the door and jogs to his side. He climbs in and starts the truck so where do you want to eat at? He asks. I was thinking cracker barrel. I tell him. Sounds good to me. He says as he grabs my hand and heads to the restaurant. We finish eating and get out to the truck. You want me to drive. I ask him as we walk behind the boys. No I'm good I promise if I get tired I'll pull over and let you drive. We all get in and start the drive back to Lexington, about an hour into the drive I look back and see all three of the boys sleeping. We make it back to the bus around 8 o'clock. Do you want to watch a movie? I ask Luke as I wake tate up. Sure sounds good to me. He says as we all get on the bus. We let the kids pick the movie and they pick ice age. The boys fall asleep during the movie so we pause it and Luke carries bo and tate to their bunks and I wake til up and tell him to go get in bed. I sit there on the couch and start to fall asleep. Come on kennly let's get you in bed. Luke says as he helps me up.
(Luke p.o.v.)
I help ke get in the bedroom and I shut the door and we change for bed. I climb in the bed then kennly does. Luke? Kennly asks. Yes. I answer her. Thank you so much for today it was beyond great being able to see my family for the first time in almost a year. You truly made this a great birthday. Kennly says as she rolls over so she's on her side facing me. You don't have to thank me I'm glad I could do that for you, I mean after everything you do for my family it's the least I could do. I tell her as I pull her to me and she looks up at me and I look at her then lean down and kiss her. It's been a few weeks since I kissed her the first time and I've wanted to do it again but haven't. We lay there and make out for a few minutes until we have to pull away for air, I pull away and pull her towards me more goodnight kennly! I say as I kiss her one more time. Goodnight Luke! Kennly says as she snuggles closer to me and starts to fall asleep. I lay there and look at her already fast asleep, and think about how I need to figure out how I feel about her before it's to late to figure out that I care for her more than just a friend or employee. I kiss her forehead then I finally lay down and fall into a peaceful sleep.
