Aubrey

I beamed from ear to ear when I saw Drew's sleeping figure beside me, her breathing was deep and relaxed giving me the idea that she's still fast asleep.

This is real, right? I touched her face lightly just to make sure that the person sleeping beside me is real, I'd smiled again as I confirmed that this is in fact real. I got out from the bed and took a quick shower before getting dressed. I purposely used Drew's clothing just because I'd missed doing it; I also planned to prepare breakfast for the two of us. As I was going through the fridge I heard the doorbell ring, curious, I walked to the door and opened it without looking through the peep hole. Big mistake, I should've looked through the peep hole, standing in front of me is the woman Drew had been kissing a couple of days ago, I can tell we would've been great friends if it weren't for that incident. I didn't want to be a bitch too but I just couldn't help it, I mean, I'm probably just rationalizing my actions but I don't feel good seeing her right now. I crossed my arms on my chest and asked "Yes, may I help you?" I batted my lashes fake-ly. Oh god, I feel like a total bitch right now, well, I'm sorry but I can't just stand in front of her and pretend like it's ok after what I've seen, I admit that I can be a very jealous girl.

"Oh-. I uhm, wanted to visit Drew but this is probably a bad-"

"A bad time? It totally is!" I cut her off

"Yeah, ok sorry, I'll just go" she bowed her head slightly and left. I closed the door behind me and bit my bottom lip. In all my life, I have never acted as rude as what I just did and even though I feel slightly victorious, I really, really feel guilty because I am not that kind of person. I rested my back on the door and breathed deeply.

"The hell are you doing there?!" Drew's confused voiced boomed through the room

"Uh? What, nothing." She didn't say anything but raise an eyebrow then after staring at me curiously, she shrugged giving up

I bit my bottom lip again "oh and yeah, a girl around my height with dark blonde hair came by" I have no idea why I had to tell her this, I would've said 'the girl you've been sucking faces with the other day came by'

"And?"

"I told her she couldn't see you because right now is a bad time" I told her honestly

"Bad idea? Why?" she seemed really amused by this

Brushing aside my confusion with her weird actions, I spoke, "well" I just have to be honest with her then. "I kind of know that she's your fiancée and I also saw you and her kissing the other day so of course the two of us in one room with be rather awkward. I mean no offense and it's nothing personal, I would have liked her in any other situation but after I saw you two kissing, I'd have to say that I hate her and she's a bitch" Ok, Aubrey, you didn't have to say that last sentence.

"You do realize that you just admitted that you knew she is my fiancée yet you still decided to blatantly call her a bitch" when she spoke it was cold and deliberate

"I- I know and I'm sorry but I can't help it and it's not like you're going to marry her" I wanted to laugh and make it light but it came out awkward and nervous

She looked me square in the eyes,"and this smart person who told you that I'm not going to marry her is?"

"You're not going to marry her!" the incredulity in my tone was obvious "are you?"

"Yes, I am going to marry her"I exhaled defeated as I felt all the sadness of being punched in my heart with reality. How the tables have turned; I honestly thought that we're going to be ok from now on but right now she's telling me straightforward that she's marrying another woman when we just slept together and made love. I know I hurt her and she's angry but I don't think I deserve this treatment. My fairy tale had been yanked away from me as fast as it came.
