Jason wants to hang out? Interesting.

After he left, I got busy on getting ready.

I just pulled on a pair of shorts and a nice shirt, and my Vans.

Plus four pieces of jewelry.

A ring my sister gave me before she left.

The pair of earrings my parents gave me before they died.

And the bracelet Cole got me when I turned fifteen.

It... keeps me closer to them, in a way.

Before the crash, I only wore the ring, but now I feel I have to wear all of it to make sure they stay in my heart, or at least close to me.

I brushed my hair and walked out of my room the same time Jason did.

He smiled at me, and I returned it.

"Ready?" He asked.

"As I'll ever be," I replied.

He took my hand in his and lead me through the house.

I couldn't keep from blushing.

He took me to his car, and let me get in the passenger side while he climbed into the driver's seat.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Surprise," He replied while slipping a blindfold on my face.

"Is this really necessary?" I asked.

"Yes," He said.

"I'm going to fall asleep," I complained.

And before he could respond, I was out.

When I woke up, Jason was lightly shaking me awake.

"Kat, come on we're here!"

"Where is here exactly?" I asked while yawning. Jason removed my blindfold and my jaw dropped. I was not dressed properly for this.

"Jason I'm..."

"Kat, don't worry, I brought you some clothes."

He handed me a bag and I hugged him. First he takes me to the beach, and then he brings me a swim suit too? Thoughtful!

I emerged from the changing station at the beach to be greeted with a Jason in trunks and no shirt... And I'm not even mad. He has abs that you could just stare at all day.

And I would've done that too, if he hadn't broken me from his trance.

"Like it?" He asked, after I nodded he continued, "Remember when you told me that you think the perfect guy is 6'3" and has a nice six-pack?"

"Um... yeah I remember, that was like ninth grade." I said.

"Well now I'm 6'3" and well you seem to like my stomach, am I perfect?"

I laughed at his stupidity, "No, you still need to be an amazing cook!"

He chuckled and then he face turned serious. He was staring into my soul, I know.

"Kat, I need to tell you something."

"Walk and talk," I told him while heading for the cool water.

"Well... Something has been on my mind for a while now, and I just wanted to ask."

"Shoot," I said finally facing him.

"Well I--" He was cut off, and sad to say by me.

"Bryan?" I choked. Sure enough, it was Bryan and Casey... sucking face.
