Save Me

The Beach

Sorry i haven't updated in ages, school started again and the art homework is crazy, but it's half term so i thought i tried to give you guys more!

Me and Sky both walked down the stairs, in which we were greeted with Liam, Jace and Chris. I could see Jace had his eyes in a death stare on Chris, before noticing me and the look on his face was priceless.

"You guys ready to go?" I asked, feeling slightly incomfortable under Jace and Chris' gazes,

"Yeah, just waiting for Grace....GRACE HURRY UP WE WANT TO LEAVE!" Liam shouted up the stairs, not moments later, Grace appeared in a black sundress and sunglasses, we all quickly left the house after gathering everything we needed and were soon heading for the beach.

I could feel my wolf relaxing at the thought of the beach, we hadn't been in years, I had my reasons why. We soon arrived and it was packed, people everywhere. I jumped out of the car, breathing in the smell of the sand and sea, it was so refreshing. Everyone had piled out of the car and the boys went round the back to get the stuff, us girls went ahead to find a spot. We ended up near the edge, by the rock pools, it was perfect. I unfolded my towel from my bag and placed it on the floor, before i felt someone else doing the same on the other side of me,

"Hey, mind if i sit here?" asked Chris,

"Of course not" i replied with a warm smile, i could see that Sky and Grace had gone on a walk around the rock pools, leaving me with the boys. I glanced around and saw Jace and Liam unpacking everything else and placing it around us, i didnt notice we packed food until a large cooler was infront of me, i couldn't help but look inside. It was full with sandwiches, crisps, pastries, desserts etc. i put the lid back on so i wouldn't end up stuffing my face.

"I'm gonna go for a swim, it's too hot" Liam said before heading to the water, grabbing Grace on his way, Chris jumped up an followed, dragging Sky as well and soon it was only me and Jace left alone.

"So...how come you haven't found your mate yet?" I asked him, i didn't know what else to say,

"Oh, i have, she just doesn't know it yet" he replied, a pang of hurt and saddness passed through me, but i dismissed it,

"Oh..erm..congrats then...I can't wait to find my mate" i said, thinking about what it would be like to find a soulmate and have them there forever.

"Haha, you'll shift today, meaning you will find your mate" he smiled at me, it was a proper smile, not one of his jerk girns...i couldn't help but smile back, suddenly i was leaning forward towards him, i had no idea what i was doing, so i quickly snapped out of it, getting some distance.

"Im sorry...i didn't know what i was doing...i'm going for a walk" I quickly got up and left before he could say anything else, why had i done that, it almost felt as if i was being pulled towards, like my wolf was pulling me, it couldn't be, he had a mate anyway, it's probably just all in my head. I made it half way down the beach before i was stopped by a boy who looked around my age,

"Hey there pretty thing, why you alone?" the stranger asked, i could tell he was a wolf,

"I'm not, i was just heading back now" I turned, about to start walking before i felt his hand grasp my upper arm,

"Now, why leave so soon, i don't even know your name" he said, carrassing my cheek, it felt digusting, i smacked his hand away before turning once again,

"Oh, so you want to play hard to get" he shouted, before i could feel him walking behind me, i tried to quicken my paced but it was no use, he grabbed my hand and dragged me into the water, although i was still in my top and shorts, i didn't want to scream out and catch everyones attention, so i just tried to fight him off, i must say, he was quite strong. I was struggling in his grip,

"Get off me you psycho!" i shouted to his face,

"Awh, baby, it's only begun" i felt his hand run down the outside of my thigh, next thing i knew, there was a splash and i was free. Quickly backing up, i could see that Jace was now repeatedly punching the boy, i had to stop him.

"Jace, stop it, you'll kill him" I yelled, i knew it wouldn't do any good though, i carefully walked towards, not wanting to be thrown in with them, i managed to grab Jace's arm and pull him back.

"Stop it! Now!" i shouted, his eyes were black with anger and i could hear the slight growls coming from his chest,

"He hurt you!" Jace sneered, direct at me, but keeping his eyes on the boy,

"Barely, i'm completely fine, see" Jace looked towards me and i held my arms to the side showing him i was alright, he let go of the boy and shoved him into the water, before taking my hand and walking back to where we were sat.

"He touched you, he hurt youu, i'll kill him" I could barely understand what he was saying,

"I can take care of myself, why do you care all of a sudden?" I asked, he let go of my hand instantly,

"I don't, but whatever" and he walked off ahead, leaving me standing there, with a shrug, i follwed and sat down on my towel. Everyone had gotten out of the water and let themselves dry off, thankfully, none of them had seen what just happened. I laid down on my back, put my shades on and got my book out to read,

"Wanna play some volleyball?" I heard Chris ask me, i made a face,

"Maybe in a bit, i just want to read for now" i replied with a smile, he didn't say anything after that, so i opened my book and started to read.

Sorry it took so long to get another chapter up, i'm aware there may be a few spelling and gramma mistakes but oh well, hope you enjoyed it:)
