Chapter 23

Luke's POV

My mom walks in saying that Ashley couldn't come.

"Why?" I ask.

"She had to visit someone." She says.

I sigh.

"Okay, then can I see her tomorrow?" I ask.

"Yes you can." She smiles.

=====Next Day=====

I'm so excited I get to see Ashley today! I haven't seen her in awhile.

Ashley's POV

They put gauze on my cuts and wrap them up.

"You're good to go home." The doctor says.

I don't say anything I just get up and leave.

Was I really that stupid? To cut myself. That was the worst thing I've ever done. I could've done something better than cut.

I sigh and I see Liz.

She smiles not saying anything but leading me to the waiting room.

I see Luke standing there with a wide smile on his face.

I feel tears in my eyes as I run to him.

I hug him, nuzzling my head into his neck, standing on my tippy toes.

"I missed you." I cried.

He hugs me back tightly.

"I missed you too." He says.

I hear people clapping and I laugh still crying.

"I love you." He says.

"I love you too." I smile.

I look at him kissing him.

He kisses me back and I laugh through it pulling away and smiling at him.

"I never want you to leave me again." I say.

"I promise I won't." He smiles hugging me.

We leave the hospital and I hope all is at peace.

"Hey I didn't want to say anything in there but what did you do to your arm?" He asks.

"Don't worry about it." I say. "I'll tell you later... Maybe."

All he does is smile at me.

Later on that day I'm just in my bedroom. (They cleaned everything up)

Luke's POV

"Uh mom?" I ask.

She looks at me.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" I ask.

"Yeah, yeah sure." She says.

We both sit down.

"Well, I wanted to Marry Ashley." I say.

My moms face looks shocked then happy.

"When did you want to do it?" She asks.

"When she turns twenty. I want to bring her to Disneyland and propose there." I say.

My moms smiles widely and hugs me.

"You make her so happy I hope you know that. You're truly her world and I can see that she's yours." My mom says.

"She is my world and I love her so much." I say.

"Are you sure you want to marry her?" My mom asks.

"One hundred percent." I smile.

"Well now you have to get a ring and take her to Disneyland." She smiles.

I stand up.

"Thank you." I smile.

She smiles and I leave to go to Ashley's.

I walk in and yell up to her.

"FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY WERE GOING TO DISNEYLAND." I yell.

I hear quick footsteps come downstairs and I get put into a bear hug.

"Really?" She asks excited.

I nod my head and she screams a little making me laugh.

"You're so cute." I smile hugging her.

If you ever think about self harming think about something that makes you happy or a happy memory.
Please don't put scars on your body.
You know why you shouldn't?
Because you're perfect and so is everyone else. Don't listen to people who tell you mean untrue things about you.
Because everyone in there own little way is perfect!
