Beyond two souls

I didn't want to be this anymore. This isn't who I am. I am Evie Green the young daughter of rich parents. Not Evie Green The stranded killer of rich parents.

You see I didn't choose to be like this. It was either be like this, or die. No in between.

5 years ago I went on a boat trip. The boat crashed. I survived and got stranded on a Chinese island in which there were stranded souls like myself trying to find a way out. I found a tribe. For 5 years we have tried to find a way off this island. For all those years I tried to not kill anybody. I knew it would turn me into something I'm not.

And just now I have started a new life, I have killed my first person. We had actually lived quite peacefully until another tribe tried to claim our territory. We managed to kill them all. I hid in the back trying not to get involved but someone came for me. I had been taught to fight so I defended myself.

Now I was different. Everyone in the tribe has a weapon, the one they use the best. Sargent's is knifes, George's is his bare hands. Everyone has one along those lines but I am different.

My special weapon is a bow and arrow. But I have another special power. Its hard to explain but I'll try.

I have another soul inside my body. He does what he wants, he wants to escape but he can't. He helps us a lot in the tribe but its hard for me. I am learning to control him but he goes wild sometimes. He frightens people. It hurts me if he goes to far away. We are connected together. He has many special powers on his own as well, some he uses for good, other for evil. One minute he's just there being quiet. The next he's around, Knocking over things or hurting people. The thing is he's like a 4 year old. He has to realise what he's doing wrong and doesn't like to listen or cooperate.

I want to get off this island. Its turning me into something different. But maybe for the better...
