I wonder through the dark

Listening to my heart beating

Happy to hear the sound

The sound of my heart soothes me

Makes me happy to no end

Takes my senses somewhere else

Makes me happy to hear

I look around the dark

Beautiful pitch black

Dark tell me where I am

Love me with your wide open space

Keep me snuggled in your calming gloom

Then when I'm ready show me to the world

But guide with your gloom for now

Keep me in your safe spider web

Only untangle me when I'm ready

That's when I'll face the light

Then I'll be alright

Keep me in your safe dark walls

Don't let the light seep in

Don't let me collapse to the ground

Let me wonder

Let me see

In the pitch black
