I awoke abruptly as the vehicle suddenly turned right. My body slid left, since I wasn't held down by any restraints. Luckily I stopped myself from slamming into the metal side. Just as sudden as the turn was, the men slammed on the brakes, slowing the van but pitching me forward. The front doors slammed and the back door was unlocked and wrenched open, the light flooding in. I shielded my eyes from the sudden intake of sunlight.

    "Get out." Phil said.

"Where are we going?" I asked, as he connected my hands to the second length of rope. He didn't answer, just pulled. I fell forward, hitting my face on the cold metal. I tasted the strong, metallic taste of blood. My mouth filled with the salty liquid so I spat the redness into the dust.

"Hurry up!" They yelled, pulling tighter. I jumped down and followed the men to a door, guarded by two burly looking men. We stopped as my captors quickly showed them some kind of identification.

"Nice pick, man." One of them said. He walked over to me and grabbed my chin, looking me over. I yanked my head away, disgusted by his touch.

    "Right?" Bobby boasted.

"They're gonna like this one." He pressed on a fingerprint pad attached to the door. When he moved his hand away, the door opened.

"See ya Jeff." Phil laughed and shoved me through the doorway. The door slammed shut behind us once we were through. So far, everything that the girl had told me was correct. Phil cut the rope and passed me off to someone else. He and Bobby then left. I sighed out of relief. Luckily this new guard was less intimidating.

"Let's go." We walked into a hallway that had different numbers on the doors. Then, after turning through many other doorways and elevators, we entered a series of hallways. This wing was labeled "Delivery". For a moment I was confused. Then I heard the wails and screams of a woman in labor. This wing was for delivering babies.

When the girl in the forest told me what happens here, a tiny part of me hoped it wasn't true. I prayed it wasn't true. But after hearing the screams echoing behind these doors, I knew she was telling the truth. I had to escape or I was going to end up like them. I shuddered at the thought.

"Sorry we had to go through this wing, the normal entrance is under construction." I couldn't find my voice to speak so I just nodded.

He opened a door and I saw a white bed sitting in the middle of the room. I already knew what was coming next.

"Please wait here someone will come to see you shortly." I stepped forward into the room and he shut the door. I climbed onto the bed as I heard the sound of jingling keys and then the heavy, final sound of a lock sliding into place.
