Saying a family is only them related
is too old fashioned and so outdated
I have a family, not my own
Of whom I'd never disown
They are always there come what may
And always listen to what I say
Never giving me a lecture or a row
I always feel better after a powwow
I feel refreshed after a short stay
Ready for what ever comes my way
