Alex's P.O.V

I'm right know in the front of the school with erica and fifty or more students outside behind police tape

Ahhh what a fine way to start your day

"Alex do you think they'll find out it was us" Erica whispered to me

"Of course not, why are you scared?" When she didn't answer I turned to see she was look down at the ground fumbling with her hands

Well that answers my question, I put my hand on her wrists to stop the fumbling and she looked up

"Look I'm an expert on these things because I do them all the time and do I look worried"

"No" she said turning to look at the school

"Hmm how about we have a sleepover! Just us girls you know mary, cat, clary, you and me all at my house, what do you say?"

...ok I know what your thinking but she's all scared and stuff so I'm gonna shut up, suck up and go through this shit

"That would be awesome lets go tell them"

Erica grabbed my hand and pulled me to our group who we're all laughing loudly due to anthony and ian's weird dancing

"Guys guess what, alex's is hosting a sleepover "they all looked shocked but who wouldn't we never and I mean ever hanged out at my place since we started hanging

"Wow really?! When is it I'm there!" Anthony said wildly

"All girls, sorry man" Erica said

"Sooo what time is it going to be?" Cat said looking at me

"Um at seven is that alright" I told the girls

They all agreed and the guys looked bummed out just as Eric was about to say something the principal made an announcement on the speakers

'Classes will be canceled for the rest of the week due to the damage in the school, have a good day'

The speakers cut off and the crowd stared to split in separate ways, I said bye to the group and went to my car alone since my brothers were to lazy to come today

As I was walking to the parking lot I had this odd feeling that someone was watching me, I turned around to see no one there just trees, a few cars parked, but other than that... nothing

As I turned back cat was right there in front of me, literally

I screamed and out of habit I punched her in the gut and flipped her, as she fell to the pavement I realized what I've done and helped her up as she clung to the spot where I punched her

"What...the...hell" cat said swaying a bit,clinging on to me for support

"Cat I'm so sorry, I thought someone was watching me and I didn't hear you coming from behind me and....yea I'm sorry" I said while helping her to my car

"And besides I thought wolfs were stronger that mermaids" getting in my car and starting it up

"Me too" she said rubbing her stomach

I parked my car in the front of the abandoned beach I found a few blocks away from my house

It was amazing the water looked like a grayish/ blue color and the sounds of the waves crashing on the soft sand was relaxing, there was a small underwater cave that was hidden by a waterfall and a couple of slippery rocks

I still can't believe someone would a abandon this

"Woah... where are we, I've never been here before?" Cat said while looking around, taking her shoes off to feel the sand under her feet

"I found this beach about five days ago when I went out walking to find a place I can have my tail out and free"

I walked to the edge of the water on the high rock and turned to face cat

"Cat" I called over and she turned her head to look at me with her brows scrunched together

"Alex what are you doing? Get down from there before you get hurt right now!" She started walking towards me, but stopped when I took a step closer to the edge of the rock

" This is where the magic happens" hearing cat scream my name I turned and jumped straight in the water with a splash

I opened my eyes after three seconds to see the water around me starting to circle around fast covering me from head to toe, turning my surroundings from colorful and full of life to complete and utter darkness

As it covers me I can feel my shirt dissolving forming into a kinda bikini top and my jeans disappeared from me, legs starting to feel scaly and binding together forming a tail

The spinning water stopped and the beautiful sea life came up once again

I looked down to see my turquoise tail, but there was something different about it from all the times I turned, it had silver, gold, and black swirls moving around hypnotizing me

I snap out of it when I realized I left cat up there alone thinking I died or drowned. I looked back at my tail to see the colorful swirls gone...weird

I swam back to the top of the water to see cat glaring at me probably thinking of ways to end my life

"Why did you do that?" She asked reaching and grabbing my hand trying to drag me out of the water

Hmm I wonder if she forgot that I change when I'm in water, as she got me closer to the sand I pulled her back

I pulled her closer to the water and told her to get on her knees

"Why?" I gave her a stupid look "Just trust me, will ya"

As she got on her knees I touched her stomach and grabbed her hand to put it on the water not letting go

Since I can control water I made it go all the way to her bruised stomach and had it heal her mark as I did so she stared with awe and amazement

When I was done she touches her stomach all around and presses hard on where the bruise use to be at

"Ok I I'm trying not to freak out but i have two questions?"

Cat said staring at me as I came out of the water to let my tail dry

"Ok what is it" I gave her my full attention

"First , what the hell did you do to me?! I had a bruise on my stomach and then you put your wet hand over it for like five seconds then bam! It gone like it was never there in the first place"

"Well I'm a water healer, we use water to help people who got injured because of an accident and heal there wounds, I can do the same for scars and make them fade away" I tell her easily

"Huh, ok now second question why did you jump in the water just to heal a little bruise? why isn't you do it on the car or something?"

"Well I could only do it when your wet or if my tail is out that's the only way"

My tail finally got dry so i helped cat up and we walked to my car, as we go in I stiffen realizing that when answered he first question I said we and not I

I hope she won't notice

"Alex what did you mean by 'we' where there more of you?"

Crap

"Um...yea but i'll tell you later, nows not the best time, k?" I asked as I turned left from the stop sign

"Ok but I'm not going to forget this"

And with that she turned up the radio to listen to 'Roar' by Katy Peary

I really wish I could tell cat what happened in my past and the danger that comes with being my friend but I don't want her to worry so I will do everything I'm my power to keep her out of the water in a full moon for 'it' won't get to her, or any of the people I love especially jamie
