My name is Niall James Horan.

I was born in Mullingar, Ireland on September 13th, 1993.

Up until five months ago, I thought a lot of people knew that.

But that's not true.

Up until five months ago, I thought if you searched my name on Google, dozens of millions of results would pop up.

But that's not true.

Up until five months ago, I thought I was part of a band called One Direction that started on the X Factor and I thought I had toured the world, won dozens of awards and had the best life I could ever wish for.

But that's not true.

July 23rd, 2010 turned my world upside down.

If you search my name on Google now, half of the results will have that date on them.

The other half will be dated February 1st, 2012.

My name is Niall James Horan and I am the boy who's been in a coma for a year and a half.
