I walked confidently back to my place in line next to Remi, accepting all the "You go girl" comments from other people in line. I still could not believe Kia really tried to cut the line like people wouldn't be bothered by it. I could not stand and let that happen. We have all been standing in line patiently.

"Levi! I can't believe you just did that," Remi said through her fit of laughter. "Did you see her face?! Comedy!" Remi clenched her stomach trying to catch her breath.

"Yeah, it was pretty funny." I smiled at Remi and just shook my head at her. I pulled out my phone and checked the time. 6:48. Yes! It was almost time for security to start letting people in. I've been waiting for this moment since the day I first discovered Chasing Stars. I let out a breath, trying to calm down my excitement. I didn't want to seem like one of those crazed fan girls that's always flipping out. I glanced behind me looking at all the girls in line and bit the inside of my cheek. He might not even notice me with all these pretty girls here.

Remi poked my cheek getting my attention. "Are you thinking about him again?"

"Well, kind of. I was just wondering if famous people ever notice their fans, like actually look at them." My mind was starting to drift again.

"I'm sure they do, the fans are what make famous people famous."

I smiled at Remi. "Yeah, I suppose you're right."

I turned my attention to the front of the line and saw two security guards walk to the gate. One guard has on sunglasses while the other wore his uniform hat. Mr. Sunglasses held his megaphone up to his face and everyone in line watched, ready to follow his instructions.

"Alright, we're about to open the gate. When you're through, you will line up to get checked. The line is separated. Boys on the left, girls on the right." He nodded to the other guard and Mr. Hat opened the gate. As soon as the line started moving, Remi grabbed my hand to ensure that I don't get left behind. She thinks just because I'm 5'2 means that I'll definitely get lost in the crowd. I don't get lost in crowds, I get through them to get to the front.

We got checked by the female security guards and I quickly grabbed Remi's hand leading her to the stage. We weren't in the very first row, but we were in the second row and we were still VERY close to the stage. Our spot was confirmed. Middle of the second row. People were filling in fast and I knew what that meant; people will start pushing. Nope. I took my purse off and sat down next to Remi's feet.

"Levi, really?" She asked like she couldn't believe I actually sat down.

"Um duh! We've been standing for hours! And we're all gonna be standing even longer waiting for the performance." I glanced at all the people starting to crowd me. "Plus people are gonna start pushing, and I'm not having it. I'm too short for all that bs," I rolled my eyes thinking of all the people that will be touching and pushing me trying to reach out to Chasing Stars.

I could already feel the eyes of a few people on me. They act like I offended them. They know they will push to the front just to touch one of the members. We all will try to. Not me though, I'll be too dazzled by Kade's sexiness to even blink. But I won't stop someone's dreams of touching them just because I didn't want to be pushed.

So far, the stage was just being set up. According to Twitter both of the opening acts couldn't make it. The singer of a band got sick and the solo singer's mother was in the hospital. I sent out my prayers to them on Twitter. I even checked Kade's Twitter account to see if they were here yet; they weren't. Remi sat down next to me finally. I knew she was getting tired of standing. I plugged my headphones in my phone so me and Remi could listen to music together. Instead of listening to Chasing Stars, we were singing along to Sex by The 1975. A few people around us even joined in.

For some reason I kept getting a weird feeling in my stomach. I frowned, unconsciously playing with my curly hair. I usually get this feeling when something bad might happen. This day is going to be the most amazing day of my life. Good things are bound to happen and this feeling means nothing...Right?

I decided it was best to dismiss the feeling completely. Instead I took a bunch of selfies with Remi and the people around us. Oh yeah, I'm blowing up my Instagram and Twitter later.

Reverting my attention to the stage, it seemed like they were mostly done setting up. The mics and instruments were all set up and I knew they were here the moment I spotted Kade's guitar. I wasn't the only one to notice it either. I looked at Remi, wiggling my eyebrows at her and I just knew she knew exactly what I wanted to do. We both started chanting for Chasing Stars all while being looked at weirdly before people actually joined in with us. Soon the whole venue was shouting for them to come out and amaze us.

"Chasing Stars! Chasing Stars! Chasing Stars!" We all chanted together in perfect sync. What was I thinking? My body was coursing with so much excitement. I woke up knowing this day will be awesome! The rock gods will make sure nothing bad happens!
